We are looking for an experienced Help Desk Administrator to help us continue to grow our I.T. Services Company. Our clients are small-to-mid sized businesses running Windows client-server and peer to peer environments. We focus on providing our clients with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that their Networks and computers are being managed by competent and trusted professionals.
Technical Skills:
• Windows 2000, 2003 and 2007 Server experience in a Small Business or Multi-site Windows Enterprise environment.
• Strong knowledge and work experience with database management.
• Knowledge and experience with Active Directory Services, Microsoft Suite and MAC OS.
Interpersonal Skills:
• Strong customer interface skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Can do attitude and taking ownership of each issue that crosses your desk.
Responsibilities:
• Provide high quality support in a technical environment that includes MAC OS, Windows, networking and data communications.
• Manage inbound customer calls and provide first call resolution with our clients.
• Assist in building the IT Department and managing our internal IT initiatives within MainBrain.
• Format and rebuild workstations.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems; work in conjunction with 3rd party vendors and products.
• Handle end-user technical support calls and provide quality technical support and troubleshooting.
• Communicate with users and co-workers clearly, concisely and politely.
• You must be able to learn and implement new technologies quickly.
Education/Experience:
• Minimum Associates Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• 3 - 5 years experience in a Computer related field.
• Understanding of Computer Systems, Network Systems, Telecommunications Systems, File and Data Management Systems.
• Knowledge of a wide variety of computer hardware, software, and peripheral equipment
Comprehensive knowledge of departmental operations.
• Personally you should be well groomed, easy to work with, able to communicate in plain-spoken terms with business executives and end users. You should be able to think on your feet, be able to resolve problems, research solutions, follow guidance, have true troubleshooting experience, and champion your own ideas.
